FAQ

What is the series reading order?

As follows: Illicit Magic (book 1), Unruly Magic (book 2), Devious Magic (book 3). I highly recommend reading them in order.

When is the next book out?

Devious Magic is due out in December 2011, hopefully around the 20th. I try and put up the first chapter here prior to the book going on sale so check in.

How many books are in the series?

I planned a six book arc and the rest will be out during 2012.

Does the short story "The Trouble With Spells" in the anthology feature Stella?

No, it's a cosy mystery featuring Seren and David from the Stella books (though Stella does get a mention).

Where does Stella come from?

Stella grew up in London, but might have spent some of her early childhood years elsewhere. When we first meet Stella in Illicit Magic she lives in London; at the end of the book she moves to Wilding.

Who are Stella's family?

Her father, Jonathan, is American. Her mother, Isadore, is from the north of England. She doesn't have any siblings. Both parents are deceased.

Where is Wilding?

Wilding is a fictional small town on the east coast of America.

Are the same characters in each book?

No, some come and go. Some will come back but you'll have to wait and see which ones!

Why do you write in British English?

Because I'm English and so is Stella. (Note: Seren and David's story was written in US English as they are American.)

Do you have any more books coming out?

Yes, hopefully in 2012 - stay tuned!
